Job description:
• Responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resourcing, and leading an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence. • Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements. • Forecast operating costs of department and direct preparation of budget request. • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements. • Coordinates production activities with other functional groups such as planning and distribution. • Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints. • Co-ordinate with other departments to drive for excellence. • Coordinate efforts of operation team by establishing production policies and practices • Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to • Report to leadership team in regular operations reviews • Coach and mentor operation leadership • Leverage industry best practices and apply to internal systems and processes • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce • Accept the job assign from superior and management. • Responsible for translate management goal & objective to production team. • Setup departmental KPI as well as goal & objective accordingly.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
