Main Parts of Injection Molding Machine

As we know, most of injection molding machine have 3 main parts: Machine`s Frame, Injection Unit & Clamping Unit. The machine`s controlling system connect these injection molding machine parts together to an injection machine. But fewer people knows how many components of injection molding machine have. As a prefessional injection molding machine manufacturer, today we would like to talk this topic and help more people to understand plastic injection machines better.

Frankly speaking, there are hundreds to more than a thousand components are assembled in an injection moulding machine. The number is not a solid word depends on the manufacturer, tonnage size and functions of plastic injection machine. There are dozens to hundreds parts difference for some different injection plastic machine.

Let`s make a sample with our machinery`s different models. Our 160 ton small injection molding machine have about 500 kinds parts (more than 1300 pcs parts) on BOM list, but there are 700 kinds parts ( more than 1500 pcs parts) for our 1000 ton injection molding machine. And it`s with our standard configurations only, there are more if have some other part for different regions and countries used. We may need to add voltage stabilizer for Africa used, and voltage regulating transformer for some other countries not in 380V power. And that will cause many auxiliary coms is installed together.
