RuneScape is having a busy week , and it's just Monday. Its principal version is launching a new Valentine's Day-themed pursuit, while Old School RuneScape is still working through feedback to RS gold its proposed gear balance changes.
RuneScape's Heartstealer quest kicks off this week, with gamers join an NPC named Caelyn in a heist to steal a"massive heart-shaped ruby" to procure an anniversary present for Annette. While definitely a Valentine's Day flavored quest, it'll be available forever, so you should not handle the heist straight away. It is going to be available to anyone, no prerequisites needed, but those that have at least a level 20 Thieving skill can claim a thieving XP Lamp after the quest. Old School RuneScape lovers can continue to provide comments on the proposed Gear Balance changes that the developers have been suggesting since late January. The most recent blog post puts forth a few of he actual changes based on player feedback that the team has in mind to execute. The OSRS team did caution that a number of the modifications will affect some players and builds over others, and they're talking internally to find out ways to let these affected builds to"keep in their current form, whilst trying to achieve the results [they're] aiming for."
As such, the team listed out some of the suggested changes to item requirments into"better fit their stats," such as making the Inqsuisitor's Mace now require 80 Attack versus the first 75, or increasing the base version of the Nightmare Staff by a 65 Magic level to 72. The Old School RuneScape team also detailed some of the plans to nerf a few things, stating that they are simply"too strong to stay as they are." This includes items like the Twisted Bow, Dragonhide Armour and much more.
